This was interesting, probably the weakest in the franchise overall but still some very strong segments throughout, some incredible set pieces.and the odd part now and again that made me question how they pulled a lot of it off on the PS3. After Ghost of Sparta though I have a taste for the series again and picked this up on the cheap. I bought this about a year ago on launch day, never played it, and sold it on. The scope of the game too for something that was a PSP title originally is incredible. Ended up playing through Ghost of Sparta last night/tonight, and it was damn fun, it's got me craving more God of War now. I felt a little tired of the series after God of War III, even though I loved every minute of that game and of the entire series, I just needed a long break from it. God of War: Ghost of Sparta / PlayStation 3 / My new favourite in the series and a huge redemption for the series after Assassin's Creed III. Probably the most out and out 'fun' title out of the big releases last year that I've played, along with Grand Theft Auto V of course, absolutely loved it from start to finish and I'll easily put in another 20 or 30 hours finishing all the side missions up, getting all the collectibles etc.

Played it solidly for the past two days and just loved it.Īssassin's Creed IV: Black Flag / PlayStation 4 / I enjoyed it at the time but didn't love it, I just couldn't get enough of it this time around. I had already played through Tomb Raider when it first came out. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition / PlayStation 4 / I suppose it was at the very least, nice to look at.

It's one of the worst campaigns I've ever played in a first person shooter, it felt like a chore to play at times.
